Two Men Accused with Prison Murder of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges in the wake of the jailhouse death of ex-Lostprophets frontman and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
Samuel Dodsworth, 43, and Rashid Gedel, 25 now face murder accusations and are set to face Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, per law enforcement officials.
Watkins, forty-eight, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, plus an additional six years on license, after admitting a string of sex offences which included the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins was taken into custody following a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a significant quantity of computers, mobile phones and data storage units were taken as evidence.
